What changes

Stock you can count on

Every movement is a document someone approved, so the number on screen is the number on the shelf.

Warehouse shelving full of crates, a loaded pallet, a floating stock-count checklist and a staff member counting stock on a phone
  • Calling each branch to ask what they have

Live stock for every location on one screen

  • Transfers that leave one store and never arrive

Transfers the receiving branch must sign for

  • Stock value worked out once a year

Stock valued at average cost every day, in the books

How it works

How stock stays right

  1. 1

    One catalogue, stock per location

Every item is set up once, with its units, category, pictures and preferred supplier. Each branch and store then holds its own quantities.

    • Units of measure and categories
    • Pictures and attachments per item
    • People only see the locations you allow
  2. 2

    Move stock with documents

Receipts, issues, transfers and requisitions are documents that someone approves before they post. Transfers wait until the receiving branch confirms what arrived.

    • Receive, issue, transfer, requisition
    • Approval before anything posts
    • The receiving branch signs off transfers
  3. 3

Count and adjust with a trail

Run stock counts for a whole store or a few shelves. Variances are shown before you post, and every adjustment records who made it and why.

    • Full or partial stock counts
    • Variances shown before posting
    • Reasons recorded for every adjustment
  4. 4

    Value stock in your books

Stock is valued at weighted average cost and posted to the ledger, so your balance sheet always reflects what's on the shelves.

    • Weighted average cost
    • Posted to the general ledger
    • Full movement history per item

Questions

What stock managers ask us

Something else on your mind? Ask us directly.

Can each branch see only its own stock?

Yes. You decide which locations each person can see and work with, while head office sees them all.

How do transfers between branches work?

The sending branch creates a transfer, and stock shows as in transit until the receiving branch confirms what actually arrived.

How is stock valued?

At weighted average cost. Each receipt updates the average, and stock value is posted to the general ledger.

Does selling at the till reduce stock?

Yes. Sales at the till reduce stock at that branch immediately, so what you see is always current.

Can we count just one shelf?

Yes. Counts can cover a whole store or a selection of items, with variances shown before you post.
