What will I need?
A MapleCore account and an AI assistant that can connect to business apps. We'll help you link the two when you set it up.
Which AI assistants will work with it?
Any AI assistant that supports the open Model Context Protocol (MCP), the common standard for connecting assistants to business software. Most of the popular assistants support it, so your team can keep using the one they know.
Will people see figures they shouldn't?
No. The assistant only answers with what the person asking is allowed to see in MapleCore. A branch manager asking about sales sees their own branch, not the whole business.
Can it change or delete anything?
No. Ask MapleCore is designed to read and answer, not to make changes. To act on an answer, you open the record in MapleCore as usual.
Is our data shared with the AI company?
To answer a question, the assistant you connect receives the question and the figures needed to answer it, so they are processed by that assistant's provider under its terms. You choose which assistant to use, and you can switch the connection off at any time.
How accurate are the answers?
Answers are built from your live MapleCore data and show the figures behind them, so you can check where each number came from. As with any assistant, check important numbers in MapleCore before acting on them.
